Hi, I'm Miguel 👋

I'm an engineer with experience wearing different hats, as a developer, writer, event producer, and communication manager.

Currently, I am a software developer at Imaginary Cloud. In the past, I was a coordinator, team leader, and communication manager of one of the biggest tech conferences in Portugal, SINFO. I also helped organize the Future.Works Tech Conferences in Berlin and Lisbon. I hold a master's degree in Computer Science Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico.

I am a proactive, creative, fast learner, imaginative, independent, hard, and dedicated engineer, currently working as a software developer.

I absolutely love technology, music, and traveling.

I was born in Beja, Portugal, and lived there until I moved to Lisbon to pursue my dream of becoming a computer science engineer.

I am currently based in the city of the seven hills, but I haven't forgotten my passion for migas com entrecosto and my slight alentejano accent.

When I'm not working, I love to travel, cook, and read and write about music, technology, politics, infrastructure, and business.

Music is a very important part of my life. As such, I am a vinyl junkie, and I have a growing collection of records. that you can check out here.
