I'm an engineer with experience wearing different hats, as a developer, writer, event producer, and communication manager.
Currently, I am a software developer at Imaginary Cloud. In the past, I was a coordinator, team leader, and communication manager of one of the biggest tech conferences in Portugal, SINFO. I also helped organize the Future.Works Tech Conferences in Berlin and Lisbon. I hold a master's degree in Computer Science Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico.

Savy
Savy is a startup company that I co-founded, responsible for the creation of devices that help users to achieve home savings easily, as well as reducing the human footprint in the environment. I was CTO of Savy, deploying its website using Bootstrap, JavaScript, and SASS, as well as helping on the creation of the Savy Water device, using Arduino and Visual Basic. Savy was awarded the runners-up prize at the “A Empresa” competition.

Specialization in Interaction & Visualization (UX / UI / Front-End). My master thesis was: 'The future of radio - combining music streaming services with traditional radio', of which the resulting app, Sterio, was developed using Flutter, Dart, and Firebase. Conducted all app development cycle procedures, from the inception of the idea to its outlining, user research, requirements gathering, design, code development, usability, and acceptance testing.

Best Thesis Award
APDC (Portuguese Association for the Development of Communications)
In 2021, my self-proposed Master's Thesis 'The Future of Radio: Combining Music Streaming With Terrestrial Radio Services', with a final grade of 19/20, was awarded the Best Thesis Award by APDC, with a jury composed of some of the most renown professors and investigators from all of Portugal's engineering universites. The thesis focused on creating a new listening experience based on Spotify's API.
